Thinking Expedition
Planning Inquiry

This form is the first step in opening an interactive dialog with the Virtual Thinking Expedition Company (vTx) in Fredericksburg, Texas, to explore the potential of planning and scheduling an operational Thinking Expedition focused on an urgent and unstructured challenge or problem facing your company, organization, team or group. This process will assist you in the first stage of examining what you would like to do, why you would like to do it, and what results you would like to achieve. We will then be able to work with you in determining whether or not a Thinking Expedition is an appropriate process for you to use.

CRITERIA - A Thinking Expeditions is driven by one or more of the following:
  • Urgency - Within the next six (6) weeks
  • Diffferent - Need for very different "out-of-the-box" thinking and results (3-Sigma)
  • Messiness - A collection of unstructured, complex, interconnected problems and challenges
  • Teaming - Need to create a real team ("team bonding" as opposed to "team building")
Note that organizing a Thinking Expedition requires a group of 16-24 people, as well as a strong backer or sponsor.

Should you prefer to discuss your strategic focus with us directly, please answer these questions first so that we may help us help you move in the optimum direction faster; after doing that, print a copy of this form for reference and call us at (830) 456-4963.
